A Steward of True Riches

If you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? Luke 16:11 NLT

The other day a certain young man came and told me: “Papa, I want your anointing.”  I told him: “You don’t understand. It is alright for you to have it, but you may not be able to use it.”

The Bible asks us: “If you are not able to handle physical money, who can entrust you with true riches?” Anointing is the true riches. But if you cannot manage your normal time as a person, if you cannot keep your body from fornicating, who is going to trust you with true riches?

This is not about speech. Paul says, “I didn’t come to you with many words”. Who will entrust you with true riches if you only have a basic android phone and it keeps you from reading your Bible? Who will entrust you with true riches? When you begin to understand these things, there is new way you will see things.

Excerpt from Afrostone Fellowship Opening – Bishop Isaiah Mbuga, August 2015

Prayer:
O Lord my God, thank you for this word. Grant me mercy and grace to walk as a faithful steward; may the way that I handle worldly wealth and the true riches of your anointing bring glory and praise to your Name. Amen.
